Last Christmas, I received an inquiry from Samantha about capturing her wedding in 2025. We scheduled a Zoom meeting to discuss her plans, and it quickly became evident that we were a perfect match. Samantha's vision for a wildflower-themed wedding, with an emphasis on being surrounded by family and loved ones, resonated with me deeply. Our conversation flowed effortlessly, and I knew this journey was going to be something special.
We initially scheduled their engagement session for late February, but Mother Nature had other plans. An unexpectedly rainy and slushy weather front forced us to push the session back to the spring. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. When the day of the session finally arrived, Samantha and Brandon surprised me with some exciting news – Samantha is pregnant! The joy and excitement were palpable, adding even more significance to our session together.
We chose Irishtown Nature Park for their engagement session. The park greeted us with an unusually golden sunset for that time of year, casting a magical glow over the landscape. As we walked through the park, the sunlight filtered through the trees, creating the perfect backdrop for our shoot. Throughout the session, we chatted about their wedding plans and their growing family. Samantha and Brandon's love for each other was evident in every interaction, making it easy to capture their genuine connection. We ended the session by the lake, where they shared a quiet moment together, gazing out at the water as the sun set behind them.
Capturing the joy and excitement of Samantha and Brandon's engagement, along with the news of their growing family, was a truly meaningful experience. I feel honored to be a part of their journey and look forward to documenting their beautiful wedding in 2025.
Congratulations, Samantha and Brandon! Here’s to many more beautiful moments together💍🤰
