When most couples begin searching for a wedding venue in New Brunswick, they often come across the same handful of well-known locations. While those venues are beautiful, there are also some incredible hidden gems tucked throughout the province that offer something a little different—whether you're dreaming of an intimate forest ceremony, a waterfront celebration, a cozy distillery reception, or an unforgettable weekend getaway with your closest family and friends.

As a New Brunswick wedding photographer, I've always been drawn to venues that feel unique, tell a story, and create an experience beyond just the wedding day. If you're looking for something a little less traditional, these are some of my favourite hidden wedding venues across New Brunswick.

Why Hidden Gem Venues Make Incredible Wedding Photos

As a wedding photographer, I absolutely love photographing at venues that couples haven't seen hundreds of times online.

Hidden gems often offer:

  • More privacy
  • Less crowded photo locations
  • One-of-a-kind backdrops
  • Unique architecture
  • Beautiful natural light
  • A wedding gallery that feels completely your own
  • Instead of recreating the same Pinterest images everyone else has, these venues allow your wedding to feel truly original.
