This past weekend, Lady Smith Manor opened its doors to a world where time stands still, teacups sparkle, and Christmas magic swirls through every hallway. Their 6th Annual Christmas Market — themed Alice’s Christmas Wonderland — was nothing short of enchanting, and I had the joy of photographing every curious, whimsical moment.

From the moment guests stepped “through the looking glass,” they were transported into an experience that felt both nostalgic and dreamlike. The Manor itself, already rich with history and charm, transformed into a festive celebration filled with twinkling lights, vintage touches, and imaginative nods to Lewis Carroll’s beloved tale.

Inside the Manor, every room held a new discovery. Twenty-seven hand-picked local artisans and vintage-inspired vendors filled the space with treasures — each booth styled like a page from “days gone by.”

Each vendor brought something uniquely their own, creating an atmosphere that invited guests to slow down, browse, and truly enjoy the experience of supporting local makers.

Just outside the Manor, the scent of warm doughnuts and spiced cider drifted through the crisp air. Visitors gathered beside the crackling outdoor fire, wrapped their hands around cups of hot chocolate, and shared stories under the glow of the Christmas tree.

The Hot Chocolate & Apple Cider Bar — and the weekend beer garden — kept spirits high and cheeks rosy. It was impossible not to feel wrapped in the season’s warmth.

Photographing this year’s Christmas Market was an honour. Lady Smith Manor has created something truly special — not just a market, but a celebration of imagination, community, and the spirit of the season.

If you attended, I hope these photos bring back a little of that magic. If you missed it, I hope you’ll mark your calendar for next year.

Until then, may your days be filled with a touch of whimsy and the warm glow of Christmas.
