This November, I had the privilege of capturing the magic of the Christmas Market at the Lady Smith Manor in Memramcook. Despite the chilly weather, the event was as lively and well-attended as ever. Rain or shine, the Lady Smith Manor never fails to draw a crowd, even with multiple vendors setting up shop outdoors.
Miriam, the talented owner of the manor, is renowned for her incredible themed events, and this year was no exception. The theme was “The Chronicles of Narnia,” and every detail carried the storybook magic to life. From the moment you stepped through the wardrobe entrance to discover the venue, you felt as though you were transported straight into C.S. Lewis’ world. Tiny lion, witch, and wardrobe ornaments adorned the Christmas trees, while elegant crowns dangled from the ceiling. Miriam’s commitment to bringing the theme to life made the market a truly immersive and unforgettable experience.
As I captured the vibrant vendor booths, I was once again amazed by the creativity and talent of our local crafters and small businesses. The market provided the perfect opportunity for holiday shopping, showcasing high-quality handmade items and unique treasures. It’s events like these that shine a spotlight on the incredible talent within our community, and I feel fortunate to be part of celebrating their work.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to return to the Lady Smith Manor in 2025 for my annual Spring and Christmas mini sessions. Stay tuned for more information as we prepare to create even more cherished memories together at this beautiful venue.
