There are some people who just radiate joy — and Ashley and Patrick are two of those people.
From the very first time I spoke with Ashley over the phone, I knew their love was something special. They were playful, full of laughter, and the kind of couple that makes you feel instantly at ease — the kind that feels like old friends right from the start.
Over the past year, I’ve had the true honour of capturing some of their most meaningful moments. It all began last May with their engagement session at Whispering Willow, followed by their beautiful wedding day there on June 29. And now, here we are — celebrating the next chapter with a glowing maternity session as they prepared to welcome their baby boy.
This session was everything I’ve come to expect from these two — full of warmth, laughter, and a little bit of mischief (Ashley kept me on my toes by pretending there was a snake in the grass, thinking it would scare me… it almost did 😂). Their light hearted spirit is contagious, and their love is so steady and true — showing up in the quiet handholds, the way Patrick looked at Ashley, and the peaceful moments in between the laughs.
And now, their sweet baby boy is finally here — born just days before their first anniversary. I couldn’t be happier for them.
It has been such a gift to witness Ashley and Patrick’s love grow and evolve over this past year. They are the kind of people who fill every space with joy, and their son is so lucky to have them as parents.
