On a hot Saturday in July, Emily and Jason celebrated their love with an intimate tent wedding in a park in Apohaqui, surrounded by nature and their closest family members. The day was filled with joy and laughter as their loved ones gathered to witness their union in this peaceful, serene setting. While Emily and Jason have kindly requested that no images showing identifying details be shared publicly, I’m excited to showcase some beautiful detail shots that highlight the essence of their special day.

The bride, Emily, put her heart into the wedding decor, creating a personal and meaningful touch throughout the day. She handcrafted all the decor herself, including her stunning bouquet made from flowers she purchased at Costco. It was clear how much love went into every detail. Her loved ones were right by her side, helping with everything from making the desserts to decorating the space, creating an atmosphere that was filled with a sense of togetherness.

The decor was simple, featuring a sage green color palette with light pink accents that complemented the natural surroundings perfectly. The combination gave the event a soft, romantic feel, perfectly suited to the relaxed, intimate vibe of their outdoor celebration.

One of the most special aspects of the day was the large wedding party made up of Emily and Jason’s nieces and nephews, truly a family-centered celebration. After the ceremony, we moved to a shaded area under the trees for family portraits, where the sun peeked through the leaves, creating beautiful natural light for these precious moments.

For their bride and groom portraits, I always suggest finding a quiet, secluded spot, free from onlookers, to really capture those intimate moments. Emily and Jason were no exception. We ventured to a more private area in the park, where the peaceful surroundings set the stage for their romantic portraits. As the sun began to set, we walked down to the stream for better lighting and a change of backdrop. It was the perfect way to end their portrait session before they headed off to join their reception at the Apohaqui Community Centre.

With heartfelt decor, the help of family, and the beauty of nature, Emily and Jason’s day was a true reflection of love, family, and connection—a celebration they will cherish forever.
